Founder of American Roofing which has been installing and repairing all types of roofing for residential and commercial customers since 1985. We have been serving The Woodlands, Texas and surrounding areas and surrounding counties.

From humble beginnings this Minnesota native, took a leap of faith and decided that it was time for a change in his life. Fairly early on Jody realized roofing was very much seasonal in Minnesota, so he decided to drive all the way south where he landed in the great State of Texas. Once his feet touched grounds of Houston, Texas he took off chasing these hail storms and realized he was about to live the American Dream of owning his own company! Jody utilized his strengths and experience to form American Roofing to become a successful entrepreneur in the industry. Working in the large-scale roofing industry for more than 40 years, he has developed a desire to deliver quality craftsmanship with integrity and honesty.

 In addition to American Roofing, Jody’s heart is filled by his family. His wife Kim, and 4 children and 3 grandchildren, as well as his furry friend “Rebel” are his entire world. He believes family comes first, always. He loves to spend his time cooking out with family and friends, traveling and exploring new places.  He always displays his competitive drive to reach both realistic and unrealistic goals, defining the tone set within American Roofing, encouraging others to shoot for the stars. Jody is truly an inspiration to everyone he encounters, tells everyone the secret to being successful is never stop believing in yourself and the man upstairs and to always remain accountable.
